Silence is Golden -- New Book Features Author's Spiritual Journey and Manifestation of Life

TRACYS LANDING, Md., June 26, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Many people speak of spiritual experience in terms of Light. Author Sonia L. Linebaugh describes the power of Silence in bringing spiritual experience into the reality of everyday living. Linebaugh's compelling new book At the Feet of Mother Meera, comes to our attention just as her spiritual mother, Mother Meera, comes to the USA to give darshan, the blessing of her silent presence, in cities across the country.

At the Feet of Mother Meera documents the author's personal spiritual journey while she remains engaged in an active life in the world, giving the reader a rare glimpse into one person's devotion to Mother Meera whose lessons are imparted in silence. Linebaugh's experiences of Light, Silence and other phenomena are of interest, but it is Mother Meera who fascinates with her unwavering acceptance and focused attention on the individuals who come to her for the blessing known as "darshan."

Spiritual longing and its manifestation in the life of the individual is the theme of this book as the author emphasizes to readers the value of an inward silence that does not shun the noise of the world or the noise of the mind. She gives living examples of how to think of the Divine at every moment, how to ask God for everything, how to accept the ups and downs of life as normal, how to experience life fully while being attached to nothing and how to see the Divine's perfect face of love in every moment.

At the Feet of Mother Meera is the most inspiring book available today and readers can order a copy of it by logging online at Xlibris.com, AtthefeetofMotherMeera.com or by visiting their local bookstores.
