Sports-Stuff Announces Success of 'World Soccer Championship' With Telus Mobility

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 5, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sports-Stuff.com Inc. (PinkSheets:SSUF) (Frankfurt:S5F), a publisher and distributor of SMS alerts, mobile web sites, ringtones and mobile video games for the sports and entertainment industry, announced today that the first two weeks of operating "World Soccer Championship" with Telus Mobility has been a success.

The "World Soccer Championship" is a fun pool for selecting the winning team in the 2006 World Cup being held throughout Germany. Users picked the winner and runner-up in each group and then chose who they thought would win in the quarter-finals, semi-finals, 3rd Place match and Final match. The pool is played entirely on mobile phones, through the mobile phone browser, and it includes real-time SMS scoring alerts.

"Our team created a fantastic looking World Cup pool and we're very excited to be operating the contest for Telus Mobility customers," remarked Sports-Stuff's President, Kevin Day. "The pool is extremely easy to use and was successfully launched two weeks prior to the beginning of the World Cup, which is the largest sporting event in the world. The pool has provided a working example of what the developers at Sports-Stuff can do with mobile-web based contests, and has resulted in several new contract opportunities for additional mobile-web based contests for NFL, NHL and other soccer tournaments."

TELUS is distributing "World Soccer Championship" on its digital network which covers 94% of the Canadian population. The "World Soccer Championship" is available to users on a pay-per-use basis through their mobile phone's web browser.
