VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 5, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- KNOW?SHOW (www.knowshow.ca), Vancouver's only action sport/apparel based trade show, announced today that following an overwhelming response from their first show held in February, The Team will return to host KNOW?SHOW Spring 07, at the world renown Vancouver Exhibition and Trade Centre, (VCEC) September 6-8, 2006.
KNOW?SHOW caters specifically to the core skate, snow and lifestyle market across Canada. Show creators Ben Couves, Nick Brown and Perry Pugh will be at it again and are proud to announce a second sold out show this upcoming September. Ben Couves stated, "We grew tired of the limited sporting shows grouping the skate and snowboard industry into it, so we took the initiative to create our own show. We knew we'd get a good response, but not to this degree. To all our exhibitors and retailers that are in the "KNOW"; we thank you for your support. We'll continue to focus our energy on the growth and success of KNOW?SHOW."
Exhibitor space for the September show is already sold out, despite increasing the floor space by 33%; a much needed addition after the quick sell out and overwhelming positive response received from the premier show. The February show attracted retailers and media from across the country and welcomed attendance from key industry heads, including those based out of California.
The extended invite list for the Spring 07 show includes retailers across Canada and any one else involved in the industry who wants to come to the VCEC and see what KNOW?SHOW is all about. "With the vast success of the first show, we expect to see returning retailers, as well as new retailers who didn't get a chance to come and check out the premier show," says Pugh.
Show attendee and buyer Greg Hasbeek of Royal commented, "I think it's great that the KNOW?SHOW Team took the initiative to hold such a trade show in Vancouver; the "hub" of Canada's skate/snow industry. February's KNOW?SHOW was the perfect site for me to buy my fall 06 lines and I'm looking forward to returning again in September for the Spring 07 show."
Well known brands as well as new brands that are returning to exhibit include: adidas originals, DVS, WESC, Lifetime Collective, Obey, Hurley, RDS, Bench, Etnies, Nudie Denim, Volcom, Vestal and Vans, to name a few. In appreciation of the exhibitor's involvement, The KNOW?SHOW Team will be hosting "YES", a private VIP Fashion Show Party. The select exhibitors participating will have a chance to showcase their Spring 07 lines. The top secret location is TBA. When asked, "Is this going to be a must-attend event for everyone in this industry?" Brown replied "YES."
