go2 Launches Mobile Surveys With go2 SpeedPoll

Innovative Mobile Usage Poll Generated Nearly 200,000 Responses in One Month

IRVINE, Calif., July 10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- go2(r) (www.go2.com), a leading provider of local search and movie guide information over mobile devices in the U.S., today announced the launch of a new mobile survey initiative, go2 SpeedPoll(tm), that it is incorporating into its local mobile content network. go2 SpeedPoll(tm) is an exciting and fun new way for mobile consumers to provide their feedback on various subjects and provides a tremendous resource for go2 advertisers and customers to gain invaluable insight on mobile consumer trends and opinions.

go2 delivers over 20 million page views of mobile, local search content during approximately 2 million unique user sessions every month, and within the first month of launching SpeedPoll(tm) go2 received approximately 200,000 responses to various SpeedPoll(tm) questions. The responses were in reply to a variety of questions created by go2, and results were viewable by the survey-takers in real-time basis.

"We are delighted to have launched this new and valuable tool to engage and interact with our category-leading user base, thereby empowering them to help guide the future of our products by providing invaluable insight into what they want and need," said Lee Hancock, CEO of go2. "These SpeedPoll(tm) survey results, along with the historical data of nearly one billion mobile, local search and directory content page views go2 has delivered over the past several years, gives go2, our carriers and advertising partners significant advantages as we work together to meet the needs of our users, our carrier partners and our advertisers."

While go2 has successfully completed a variety of other surveys in the past, go2 SpeedPoll(tm) represents a new initiative to engage go2 users with survey questions ranging from how they would rate a recent movie to learning the type of automobile the users drive. go2 has also successfully run recent survey campaigns for customers such as Gameloft and MediaCom in order to track the performance of advertising programs.

"Advertisers are interested in learning what mobile consumers think about the product they are selling directly from the source, and consumers are interested in learning what other consumers think," said Hancock. "go2 SpeedPoll(tm) is a tremendous tool that allows advertisers the ability to learn about the mobile consumer, while go2 users can quickly view the overall results from all consumers. For example, one survey indicated that nearly 70 percent of go2 users utilize go2 Movies(r) to help decide both which movie to see and which theater to attend."
