Dialysis Corporation of America Announces the Opening of New Dialysis Center in Pennsylvania


LINTHICUM, Md., July 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dialysis Corporation of America (Nasdaq:DCAI) announced the certification and opening of its new dialysis facility in York, Pennsylvania which, as previously announced, began construction in the latter part of 2005.

President & CEO Stephen Everett commented, "We have completed the construction of our York, Pennsylvania facility, passed all required inspections, and have opened the facility for patient care. This center is our first in the York County area and our ninth in the state of Pennsylvania. With our affiliation with physicians from Nephrology Associates of York, a prominent and well respected medical practice in this area, we are confident that this center will be extremely successful from both clinical and financial standards."

The new facility offers state-of-the-art equipment and technology, has been designed with patient comfort in mind, and includes 24 treatment stations, along with a Peritoneal Suite for patients opting for that modality.

Dialysis Corporation of America currently owns or manages 31 free-standing operating kidney hemodialysis centers in Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia providing patients with a full range of quality in-center and at-home dialysis services, as well as providing in-hospital services.
