AMERCO Real Estate Expands U-Haul Self-Storage Operations with the Purchase of Highway 66 Self-Storage


BOULDER, Colo., July 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- AMERCO Real Estate announced today that it has expanded the U-Haul network of self-storage locations with the purchase of Highway 66 Self-Storage on 3885 Highland Drive, Mead, Colo. The new storage facility boasts 477 rooms and more than 79,000 square feet of storage.

The new self-storage facility features 24-hour security, video surveillance, electronically controlled access, climate control, your lock/your key, no deposit, a convenient credit-card payment plan and available low-cost Safestor(R) insurance to protect possessions.

The storage facility will also feature a wide variety of packing supplies, including boxes, rope, tape and locks. Customers can rent U-Haul moving vans and trailers, as well as utility, appliance and piano dollies so they can easily load their possessions.

Customers who rent a U-Haul moving van or trailer for a one-way move can receive one month of free storage before or after their move.
