USAID Selects Northrop Grumman for Information Technology Services Blanket Purchase Agreement


MCLEAN, Va., July 14, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) that will help USAID to more efficiently and economically provide and maintain standard information technology (IT) platform and infrastructure services.

Northrop Grumman is one of five companies awarded this indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) principal resource for information management enterprise-wide (PRIME) 3.2 BPA. This IDIQ BPA ceiling is $4 billion, collectively. The period of the BPA is one year with four one-year options.

Northrop Grumman and its team will provide services for the USAID, the Department of State and its foreign affairs partners in the following IT functional areas: information technology operations and maintenance support services, communications operations and support services, customer support services and systems integration support.

Work on the contract will be in Washington, D.C., and other multi-agency domestic and international locations.
