It was a matter of surviving independently after leaving home wanting to be grown. After high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Army. My military experience: Infantry, Memorial Affairs, Supply, First Sergeant, Sergeant First Class, Platoon Sergeant, Sergeant and through Private. I fathered three daughters during my military assignments. During my assignment at Fort Richardson, Alaska I had the opportunity during my off time to attend the University of Anchorage, Alaska, AA Business and Wayland Baptist University, Anchorage, Alaska, B.S.O.E. I created The American Diamond as a hobby during my off time in between two full time employments. It required lots of time, lots of research, lots of mind, lots of love for our country and pride from within oneself to create The American Diamond picture book.
