Building Bridges to the Golden Past -- New Book Features Touching Poems That Promote History and Patriotism

CHEVY CHASE, Md., July 27, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- For some people, the future marks the end of history, while others are destined completely to disregard the past in order to meet their destiny. In the view of author Gerald Lewis Geiger, however, the bridge to the past can never be torn down and people must learn to value the past, their backgrounds and their origins. Not only that, America's past is simply too great and too important to be forgotten and the struggles and sacrifices of our forefathers made the nation great long before many of us were born. These are the themes that readers will learn in America, Before The Storm, Geiger's compelling new book released by Xlibris.

America, Before The Storm is a fine collection of poems that deals with the essence of America's achievements in bridging the path from West to East, North to South, and past to present for mankind. With beautiful thoughts told through a loving rhythmic language, the book talks about leading civilization through the present into the future via the past. It also takes a close look at the grandeur of the free sovereignty and responsible individuals using influences of the past to manage the future. In essence, the author's presentation expresses that the past is not only our history but also our main guide and inspiration in life.

America, Before The Storm is a patriotic, nostalgic, and respectful poetry book that readers will find uplifting. Interestingly, the book's poetry was inspired by decades of study and living the classics that offer the key to dignified life.
