NEW YORK, July 28, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Winmax Trading Group, Inc. ("Winmax") (Pink Sheets:WMTG) announces its newly formed subsidiary, GoLemur!, Inc. ("GoLemur!").
GoLemur! was created to capture advertising and subscription revenue by providing end users with a multiple access portal to stream video and post pictures, as well as store, manage and distribute files to friends and associates. The GoLemur! Portal, once completed, will be strategically positioned to fill a gap in current online communities and provide the technology to share video files from their mobile devices and personal computers.
Upon completion of its software designs, planned media player, and other necessary components, GoLemur! plans to operate as a personalized virtual online storage and management facility with an online social and business community wrapped around it. Upon completion and becoming operational, it will include:
-- A private virtual storage place to store and retrieve streaming
video and digital photos anywhere, anytime, where Internet
access exists.
-- A user-friendly ability to upload and download video and picture
files directly from a user's cell phone.
-- The ability to create a personal social community within a user's
accounts to view video and photos.
-- E-mail and text messaging capability.
-- An option to join the global GoLemur! community to perform
searches and/or post a user's own profiles.
-- The option to submit a user's own (or comment on) other videos
and pictures within the GoLemur! community, but with certain
necessary protections.
-- The opportunity to meet and invite friends of friends
expanding users' social network (viral networking).
-- Parental guidance, protection of subscriber privacy, and
protection from virus attacks.
Upon completion and becoming fully operational, membership to the GoLemur! website and WAP (wireless application protocol) site will be based on both free and paid subscriptions, with the primary differences existing in file storage size and advertising acceptability.
Currently, the GoLemur! Portal and java based proprietary GoLemur! Media player frameworks have been developed by the company's software development engineering team headed by Weiping Yang, Chief Software Engineer. GoLemur! has completed an agreement with Elitecom Technologies Corporation, a China based software development and design services firm, to assist in the building, testing, implementing, and deploying of a Java based proprietary Media player. GoLemur! has also completed an agreement with DGT Information Systems Ltd, a China based software development firm, to implement phase 1 of the GoLemur! Website.
