Dow Jones Indexes President Elected to Copyright Clearance Center Board of Directors


NEW YORK, Aug. 3, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced that Michael A. Petronella, president of Dow Jones Indexes/Ventures, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Copyright Clearance Center, Inc., the world's premier provider of copyright licensing and compliance solutions for the information content industry.

He has been with the company in various finance positions for more than 30 years.

Mr. Petronella is a member of the supervisory board of STOXX Ltd., a joint venture of Deutsche Boerse AG, Dow Jones & Co. and SWX Swiss Exchange.
