CORRECTION -- Security Intelligence Technologies, Inc. Attends Beijing 2006 Police Show and Appoints New Distributor


NEW YORK, Aug. 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- On August 2, 2006, Security Intelligence Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:SITG) announced that its subsidiary, Homeland Security Strategies, Inc. (HSS), recently exhibited its latest counterterrorism equipment at the 2006 Beijing Police show. While in Beijing, HSS finalized an agreement with a prominent Beijing company to market its products and technology in China.

In that release SITG's CEO, Ben Jamil, was quoted saying, "It is estimated China's security budget will exceed the $1.3 million that Greece spent in providing security for the 2004 Athens Olympics. We believe there will be significant amounts spent on the types of products we design and manufacture and are excited about the opportunity we have with our new distributor to pursue this business."

The amount that Greece spent in providing security for the 2004 Athens Olympics was $1.3 billion instead of $1.3 million as stated in the August 2, 2006 release.
