Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT) closed recently at $24.22 with a volume of 367539 X 100. My current rating on MSFT is, "Slightly Oversold."

A "Slightly Oversold" stock is one that I think will probably move higher, yet the uptrend should be minimal at this point. If you hold the stock and are worried about a move lower, a "Slightly Oversold" could be an "early warning" of a slowing of any recent upward momentum.

The "Slightly Oversold" rating is tricky, though. There are mixed signals that at once show the stock is going higher still, but could stop the rise anytime. It's a signal that says, "Be ready for a change of character."

My least favorite ratings are the "Slightly Oversold" or "Slightly Overbought."
