With This Book, People Can Make a Difference -- New Book Highlights Liberalism and Sound Alternatives Dealing With Today's Crises

HUDSON, Wis., Aug. 10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- People today are living in a period where "moral values" receive much attention in the press. Rarely however do the discussions based on "moral values" include any serious discussion of what the Jewish and Christian scriptures say about the primary conflicted issues of the modern world. As such, armed conflicts have escalated worldwide while tensions between different cultures have intensified. In their quest to offer readers in-depth solutions with today's crises, authors Dr. Daniel C. Bruch and Thomas W. Strieter express their liberal views with the release of their compelling new book Toxic Faith: Liberal Cure.

Toxic Faith: Liberal Cure is an expressive response to those who claim that liberalism is immoral and is somehow destroying the cultural values of the USA. This book seeks to provide a careful and reasoned response, in a specifically Judeo-Christian context, to many of the most vocalized and divisive current issues: patriotism, war, abortion, homosexuality, poverty, and the environment. Using quiet, confident scholarship and reason, the authors seek to restore and energize a more informed response to the Religious Right. The style of writing within this book is very readable and understandable and its content is based on scholarly investigation and is presented in a very civil and inclusive manner.

"Many people have been interested in hearing a religious man's response to the religious right," says Bruch. "Because of this, I decided to write the book, Toxic Faith: Liberal Cure." This compelling book is now available for your reading and research needs at your nearest bookstore as well as through Xlibris.com, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Borders, and through www.liveliberal.org. With Toxic Faith: Liberal Cure, you can make a big difference!
