Atlantic Aviation Renews and Expands Contract for Flight Explorer's Aircraft Situation Display System

MCLEAN, Va., Aug. 14, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Flight Explorer, a global flight tracking, information technology and communications solutions provider to the aviation community, today announced that Atlantic Aviation has renewed and expanded its contract for Flight Explorer's FE Professional(tm) Aircraft Situation Display (ASD) system for its growing network of aviation service facilities across the United States.

"Flight Explorer is a powerful tool that really brings significant value to our day-to-day flight operations," said Sue Sommers, Vice President Sales and Marketing Atlantic Aviation. "With the recent integration of Trajen Holdings into our portfolio, expanding our relationship with Flight Explorer was a natural step."

FE Professional is an integrated flight tracking and management decision-support tool that goes beyond "flight tracking," incorporating multiple data feeds, dynamic weather overlays, situational alerts and predictive weather and air traffic tools to make FE Professional an essential FBO operations management tool. With an installed base of over 2,000 systems, FE Professional is the world's leading ASD.

With FE Professional, Atlantic Aviation can improve overall airport situational awareness through a single display, utilize real-time and predictive tools to anticipate arrival delays, capture valuable flight information for ground logistics management, monitor the airspace with event-based alerts, obtain valuable market data and efficiently manage personnel resources based on the current air traffic situation.

"As Atlantic Aviation continues to expand its geographical reach, we are very happy that they have again chosen Flight Explorer to serve as a key element of their flight operations," said Flight Explorer CEO Jim Kelly. "We look forward to continuing to add the valuable product features and capabilities they require to improve the efficiency and performance of their business."

The integration of Trajen Holdings has more than doubled Atlantic Aviation's FBO locations from 19 to 42 sites across the United States. To support this expansion, Atlantic has substantially increased the number of seat-subscriptions to FE Professional.
