Emulex's LightPulse Virtual HBA Technology and HBAnyware 3.0 Management Solution Featured Within Various Demonstrations

 WHAT:

 Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX), the most trusted name in

 its LightPulse Virtual HBA technology running on both Xen3 and
 VMware platforms at LinuxWorld 2006. Emulex LightPulse Virtual
 HBAs enables server virtualization environments, such as Xen
 and VMware, to migrate guest environments seamlessly for load
 balancing, server maintenance or incident recovery, with immediate
 reconnection to SAN-based databases and file resources, while
 also ensuring SAN best practices. The demonstration will take
 place at Emulex's booth No. 515 during this week's LinuxWorld
 Conference & Expo in San Francisco.

 Also at the event, Emulex's HBAnyware 3.0 solution will be
 showcased at the Oracle Partner Pavilion, highlighting the
 newest technologies from Emulex and Oracle.  HBAnyware 3.0 is
 a powerful platform for efficient and scalable administration
 of enterprise SAN connectivity, delivering comprehensive control
 of local and remotely deployed Emulex HBAs within a centralized
 management framework.

 Finally, John Dobyns, director, industry alliances at Emulex,
 will speak at the AMD booth No. 916 on Wednesday, August 16,
 at 10:30 a.m. PT. This presentation will highlight the
 performance advantages of using Emulex storage connectivity
 solutions within an AMD Opteron-based system environment.
