Business Leaders More Confident Than a Year Ago, PricewaterhouseCoopers' Management Barometer Finds




 PricewaterhouseCoopers' Management Barometer is a quarterly survey of
 senior executives of large, U.S.-based multinational companies. This
 summarizes findings about the second quarter business climate, from
 interviews conducted with 137 CFOs and Managing Directors, through
 July 18, 2006.

NEW YORK, Aug. 16, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Although increasingly concerned about energy costs, availability of qualified workers, pressure for increased wages, and interest rates, executives of large U.S. multinationals have a more confident outlook than a year ago. Their revenue growth targets for the next 12 months, investment plans, plans to hire, and gross margins are on the rise, PricewaterhouseCoopers finds.
