Truth Seeking: Travels In A Time Of Terror, Wars & Religious Fundamentalists, 2001-2006 -- New Book Tells Why the World Has Now Become a Much More Dangerous Place to Live In

STUART, Fla., Aug. 22, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Terrorism continues to plague people's lives and complicate diplomatic affairs which led the world into chaos. With tragedies of 9/11 still in our minds, terrorism is one crisis that must be dealt with. But for veteran author George E. Lowe, President George W. Bush's war against terror is only bringing the world deeper into an era of religious extremism, Fundamentalist-Evangelical domination, and unlimited hatred. What does the future hold for us all? Readers will discover the hard answers and crucial details with the release of Lowe's compelling new book Truth Seeking: Travels In A Time Of Terror, Wars & Religious Fundamentalists, 2001-2006.

Looking back at the tumultuous years of 2000-2006, Truth Seeking is a critical and in-depth analysis of the unfolding of President Bush's Grand Fundamentalist Christian Strategy and its attempted implementation (2001-2006). The author reveals some aspects of this extremist strategy which includes A) the attempt to create a new political-military strategy to replace "Deterrence & Containment (1945-2001)", B) the impact of "Pearl Harbor Two" (9-11-01), C) changes of the U.S. Strategy that occurred at the end of the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century, D) the rise and fall of the Five Key Components of Bush's Grand Strategy (New American Empire of Oil, Preemptive Warfare, Unilateralism, New Military Tactics and the Last Christian Crusade).

Through his observations, Lowe emphasizes how terrors, wars, and religious fundamentalists affected people's lives, the functions of all governments and America's relations with the international community. The travel narratives (England-London/Guernsey-Sark/Greece/N.Mexico/Wales/Scotland/Ireland-Dublin/Tuscany/Trinidad & Tobago/W. Caribbean/Belize/Fl. Keys & Central Fl./Nova Scotia) in this book contain favorite recipes and lists of "Birds Seen" in foreign climes. And at the end of most chapters is a detailed running commentary on President Bush's stewardship of the 43rd presidency as well as the hopes and expectations of the American people. Interestingly, the book features four appendices which are devoted to President Bush's extremist/revolutionary Strategic-Political-Military policies, influenced by his Fundamentalist-Evangelical religious beliefs, the agenda for oil and his Neo-Con and Theo-Con advisers. Lastly readers will discover more about the shared obsession of the Republican Party, Fundamentalists, and Conservative Evangelists towards creating a Christian America and Evangelical Theocracy.

Richly-layered and intelligent, Truth Seeking is essentially a continuation of the author's predictions, warnings, and fascist fears developed in It Can Happen Here: A Fascist Christian America (2000), which will undoubtedly interest many readers, especially liberals, progressives, Anti-Bush/Cheney critics, curious travelers, anti-fascists, political/military strategists, military personnel, conspiracy theorists and so much more. Like Kevin Phillips' American Theocracy, this book will arouse people's conscience and promote careful thinking about policy, religion and the future in general. Buy this book today.
