HOUSTON, Aug. 24, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Falcon Natural Gas Corp. (OTCBB:FNGC) announced today that the S.J. Weido No. 2 well, operated by Stanotex, LLC, which reached a total depth of 3,696 feet and logged 43 ft of net pay from multiple zones has begun production from the Lower Frio. The well is currently producing Natural Gas at the rate of 100 MCF/D and 3 BPD of oil. Additional zones have also been tested and will be produced in the future.
Falcon Natural Gas Corp. along with its partners in this prospect, TransAtlantic Energy Partners LP and Stanotex, LLC will also evaluate potential offsets to this well.
