TASER International Receives Follow-On Orders for TASER X26 Devices from Three Florida Law Enforcement Agencies


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug. 25, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- TASER International, Inc. (Nasdaq:TASR) a market leader in advanced electronic control devices today announced that it has received three follow-on orders for TASER(r) X26 units and accessories from law enforcement agencies in the state of Florida. The Broward County Sheriff's Office, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, and the Miami-Dade Police Department all placed orders for the TASER X26 devices and accessories to supplement the TASER units that are already in deployment at each agency.
