eGames Sticks It To the Man with Boss Hunter: Revenge is Sweet!

Players Get Payback on the Boss with Company's First Internally Developed Title

LANGHORNE, Pa., Sept. 1, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Casual games publisher eGames, Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM), announced today that Boss Hunter(tm): Revenge is Sweet!, will ship to retail outlets in September. The new first-person office-themed arcade PC title represents eGames' initial foray into internal game development.

In Boss Hunter, players assume the role of a loyal office worker who finally snaps after a really bad day. Fed up with years of abuse at the hands of a self-serving supervisor, the player chases the Boss through 12 interactive levels from the boiler room to the rooftop. Creatively using a wide variety of office supplies, the player sticks it to the man with pencil crossbows, hot coffee cups, red rapid-fire staplers, incontinent pigeons, broken printers, and more.

With additional internal titles currently in production, including an all-new version of Cinemaware's Defender of the Crown(r) slated for an early 2007 release, eGames will also continue to work with external developers to bring the best casual and traditional games to the marketplace.

"Boss Hunter represents a new chapter for eGames. While we remain dedicated to seeking out the best external titles for retail and our website, www.egames.com, our new internal development efforts will provide additional revenue streams, more online distribution flexibility and better responses to market conditions and consumer feedback," said Product Manager Greg Zesinger.
