NEW YORK, Sept. 5, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Two air-inclusive packages, starting at $479 to London and $659 to Rome from New York JFK are being offered for sale through Oct. 6, 2006 by British Airways.
Both packages are valid for travel Oct. 26, 2006 through Dec. 31, 2006 (excluding Dec. 19-25) and include roundtrip World Traveller economy airfare. In addition to the fares shown from New York JFK, the packages are available from all 19 British Airways USA gateways at comparable prices.
-- "London Value" includes accommodation for three nights at the
three-star Royal National hotel and daily continental breakfast.
-- "Monumental Rome" includes accommodation for three nights at
Principe di Piemonte, daily continental breakfast and a ticket
for the Monuments of Rome sightseeing tour, including St. Peter's
Basilica and the Trevi Fountain.
As an option to the packages, additional nights and other room types are available at a variety of hotels; rates will vary depending on hotel, room type selected and travel period. Other hotels offered in the "London Value" package include Central Park, Jury Inn Chelsea, Royal Eagle, Comfort Inn Kensington, Premier Travel Inn Kensington, Saint Gregory, and Park Inn Hyde Park. Additional hotels offered for "Monumental Rome" include Oxford, Visconti Palace, Regno, Giulio Cesare and Capo D'Africa. "Monumental Rome" is offering a fourth night free promotion, available on select dates at all hotels with this package.
Prices are per person based on double occupancy and are subject to availability and do not include government fees and taxes of approximately $128 and a $2.50 September 11th Security Fee. The package must be purchased eight days in advance of departure and a minimum stay of three nights. A weekend travel surcharge of $30 per person applies for travel Thursday through Saturday in each direction. Other restrictions may apply.
