Lindal Cedar Homes' Founder Visits Michigan Dealer to Applaud Dedicated Service

KALAMAZOO, Mich., Sept. 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Lindal Cedar Homes is honoring one of southern Michigan's most active producers of luxury custom post and beam homes with its Founder's Circle Award. On September 9th, Lindal founder, Sir Walter Lindal, will be visiting Manitou Custom Homes in Kalamazoo to present the award for being a top dealer for the company.

This event will take place at Manitou's showcase model cedar home, where Sir Walter Lindal will present owner Ken Whipple with a plaque acknowledging membership into the Founder's Circle. Current and future Lindal homeowners have been invited to help celebrate this event. "The Founders Circle Event will give home buyers an opportunity to see our post and beam model home, to see what features we use in our homes and ask questions and learn more about Lindal Cedar Homes," says Ken Whipple. "Since we believe that every custom cedar home design is as unique as the people who choose to build them, it's a great opportunity to highlight the services we provide our customers."

Whipple also received recognition for being a top volume dealer in 2000 & 2003. "Lindal Cedar Homes is an inspiring company with an amazing product and they also share the goal of excellence with us... I am so grateful for this honor," says Ken. Based in Kalamazoo, MI, Manitou Custom Homes has satellite offices in Brighton and St. Joseph, MI, as well as Lee's Summit, MO and representatives at the Missouri Innsbrook Resort.

With thousands of post and beam homes under their belt and 21 patents, Lindal Cedar Homes is known for their adventurous customers and custom home designs. They are the largest designer and manufacturer of custom, post and beam cedar homes in the world. With Lindal's economically engineered post and beam building system, the company has capabilities to manufacture timber frame homes that meet a variety of budgets and architectural styles. Lindal offers over 3,000 popular plans, including Classic Lindal, Contemporary and Traditional designs. Lindal products are sold and serviced through an international dealer network.
