CMARK International Receives USDA Approval; Company Now Eligible to Participate in Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business Program for Frozen Beef Products

COLUMBIA, S.C., Sept. 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- CMARK International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CMKI), a leading Service-disabled, Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB) provider of service and products to federal government institutions and facilities, today announced it has received approval from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to participate in prime and subcontracting activities concerning its frozen beef products. The request was recently approved and gives CMARK the ability to begin bidding on specific activities under the terms of the agreement immediately.

"Becoming eligible for USDA contracts like the School Lunch program for example, is a huge step for us as it could potentially increase our revenues in 2006 and beyond with a major government entity," said Charles W. Jones, Jr., CEO and President of CMARK International, Inc. "With the increasing procurement opportunities allowed for SDVOSB's such as CMARK, we are confident we will be very competitive in earning the business of the USDA. We have our plan of action and are eager to implement it immediately."

Of USDA expenditures by major program activity, over one-half, 56 percent, support domestic food assistance programs including Food Stamps, School Lunch and Women, Infants and Children's programs. In addition, School Lunch participation is estimated to reach a record level of 30.9 million children each day in 2007 according to a transcript of a news conference by Agriculture Secretary, Mike Johanns commenting on the 2007 USDA Budget proposal.
