ARI insights Alerts Ensure Fast, Proactive Response

MT. LAUREL, N.J., Sept. 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The new ARI insights(tm) web-based car and truck fleet management system, developed by Automotive Resources International, issues real-time, actionable Alerts that make it easy for customers to respond quickly to time-sensitive events.

The intelligent system continuously monitors a company's fleet database, watching for client-defined events and information updates as it processes incoming data. No matter when or where an event happens that requires attention, the system notifies the client by dispatching a popup screen Alert. The Alert provides a link where the fleet manager can get the information necessary to take action or make a decision -- without having to waste time trying to telephone anyone.

"Our innovative Alerts keep ARI customers ahead of the curve and help ensure compliance and Best Practices are being maintained in all areas of fleet operation," explains Bill Kwelty, ARI Vice President and Chief Information Officer. "We built our new system on an SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) that takes full advantage of the latest technologies available today. This has positioned us to respond quickly to the diverse requirements of our customers, partners and suppliers and will allow us to continue providing seamless integration in the future as other organizations adapt the SOA standards."

ARI insights, introduced during August 2006, is currently in use at select customer locations in limited release and is scheduled for general customer availability in January 2007. The new ARI business tool gives customers, even those with the most complex truck fleet operations, comprehensive data about their fleets -- strategic fleet insights -- through comparative performance data, simplified interfaces and tools that get results faster. ARI clients can leverage the system to improve fleet operation, cost management, and business decision-making in the future.
