Peoples State Bank Named a Best Place to Work


MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., Sept. 8, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Peoples State Bank, (a subsidiary of PSB Group, Inc.), (OTCBB:PSBG), a Michigan state-chartered bank with offices in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Genesee Counties, has been named as one of Metropolitan Detroit's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. The award is presented annually by the Michigan Business and Professional Association.

This is the third time in recent years that Peoples State Bank has been picked for this prestigious honor. Included among the selection criteria are two-way employee communication, compensation & benefits, diversity & multi-culturalism, employee engagement & commitment, recognition & retention, and work-life balance.

Peoples State Bank has operated continuously under local ownership and management since it first opened for business in 1909. The bank currently serves southeastern Michigan with 12 offices in Farmington Hills, Fenton, Grosse Pointe Woods, Hamtramck, Madison Heights, St. Clair Shores, Southfield, Sterling Heights and Warren. A 13th office, currently under construction in Troy, is expected to open late in 2006.
