LAS VEGAS, Sept. 11, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- This week two First Horizon Msaver Inc. executives will address Innovations in CDH Payments, a conference focused on opportunities and challenges in the rapidly evolving realm of healthcare payment transactions.
E. Craig Keohan, president of First Horizon Msaver, will deliver a keynote address today, Sept. 11, on "The Dynamic and Evolving Roles of Providers, Banks and Credit in Consumer-directed Health."
On Sept. 12 Lynden Kendrick, vice president of business development, will participate in a panel discussion addressing the difficult problem of keeping track of payments to care providers made by health insurance carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs) or banks all involved in an integrated high-deductible health plan/Health Savings Account (HSA) process. Kendrick calls this "funnel funding," since payments must come from various sources and funnel through the carrier or TPA to get to the doctor.
