Industrial Nanotech Reaches Agreement to Begin Distribution of Its Nanotechnology-Based Coatings in Retail Stores

NAPLES, Fla., Sept. 12, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Industrial Nanotech (Pink Sheets:INTK) today announced that the company will be distributing its Nansulate line of nanotechnology based coatings through independent retail paint store members of the Paint and Decorating Retailers Association (PDRA). Retail distribution of Nansulate will begin with six retail stores in Chicago, followed by eight stores in Louisiana.

The Paint and Decorating Retailers Association is a nationally recognized trade organization that supports independent paint and decorating product dealers, serving thousands of professionals in the U.S. and Canada.

"Launching our in-store retail distribution in a major market like Chicago is major step towards increasing our sales revenues and general product visibility," said Francesca Crolley, VP of Operations and Marketing for Industrial Nanotech, Inc. "For example, two of the stores in Chicago have over 1,500 painting contractor accounts plus a substantial do-it-yourself retail business that comprises almost half of their total sales. Our retail distribution program will be an aggressive step by step, region by region process designed to maximize the market saturation of our product line."

Chief Executive Officer of Industrial Nanotech, Stuart Burchill, stated, "Distributing Nansulate in retail stores has always been an important strategic objective for us. We chose PDRA member stores to begin 'brick and mortar' distribution of Nansulate because we believe they are uniquely qualified to offer the highest level of customer service to both retail customers and their large network of painting contractors. We have been offered premium placement of our product and Point of Purchase displays in their showrooms which certainly speaks volumes about what they think of Nansulate, since floor and shelf space in retail paint and decorating stores is extremely valuable and competition for it is intense. This access to effective product display placement is vital to commercial success in the retail environment."
