ARI insights RSS 'Feeds' Put News at Clients' Fingertips

MT. LAUREL, N.J., Sept. 14, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The new ARI insights(tm) intelligent web-based car and truck fleet management system, developed by Automotive Resources International, saves clients research time by providing news and information they request through Really Simple Syndication "feeds."

Through a new library of ARI-syndicated feeds, ARI insights allows clients to choose from available feeds and then supplies requested world news, industry-specific items such as oil- and gas-related white papers if the client is an energy company, the latest press releases from ARI, and other types of news and information.

"This is another good example of how ARI is leveraging technology to benefit clients," says Bill Kwelty, ARI Vice President and Chief Information Officer. "Our RSS feeds help clients watch for, find and act on news or trends that impact company business. We believe that having the right information at the right time helps clients make informed decisions that contribute to the success of their companies."

ARI insights was introduced in August 2006 and is currently in use at select customer locations in limited release. Scheduled for general customer availability in January 2007, the new ARI system gives customers, even those with the most complex truck fleet operations, comprehensive actionable information about their fleets - strategic fleet insights - through comparative performance data, simplified interfaces and tools that get results faster. The company's clients can leverage ARI insights to improve fleet operation, cost management, and business decision-making.
