First Horizon Bank Announces the Opening of Two New Financial Centers in the Baltimore Region

Bank Celebrates Opening of First Two Full-Service Baltimore Region Locations Complete with State-of-the-Art Technology and Outstanding Customer Service


MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 3, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- First Horizon Bank, a full-service financial services company, announced today the opening of two new full-service financial centers in the Baltimore region. Located at 60 Painters Mill Road in Owings Mills, Md., and 6304 1/2 York Road in Baltimore, Md., the financial centers provide added convenience and additional retail banking options for customers in the area. The centers officially opened on Sept. 19 and Sept. 21, respectively, and grand opening celebrations are planned for both locations on Saturday, Nov. 4.

"Although we have had a presence in the Baltimore region through our wealth management and commercial banking teams since May 2005, the opening of these two full-service financial centers provides us with the ability to deliver on our goal of providing All Things Financial to Baltimore-area consumers," stated Terrie G. Spiro, regional president of First Horizon Bank. "Under the direction of Baltimore regional president Charlie Black, we continue to build a strong team in this market to meet the needs of our current and potential customers."

Thomas F. Costantini, Jr., First Horizon's vice president of retail banking for the Baltimore region, will oversee the newly appointed financial center managers:



  --  Jamie Chris Moore has joined First Horizon as financial
      center manager of the Painters Mill location.  Prior to
      joining First Horizon, Moore was assistant vice president
      of branch administration at The Harbor Bank of Maryland
      in Baltimore, Md.  Beginning his career as a financial
      specialist at First Union Corporation, Moore has also
      held positions at New York Life Insurance Company,
      Susquehanna Bank and MBNA America.

  --  Leslie Crossley has joined First Horizon as manager of
      the York Road financial center.  Crossley comes to First
      Horizon after spending six years at T. Rowe Price &
      Associates, Inc.  There, Crossley served as a retirement
      plan specialist, a tax reporting representative and a
      retirement plan coordinator II.  Prior to T. Rowe Price,
      Crossley was a financial sales representative for Allfirst
      Bank in Baltimore, Md.

Local consumers and businesses are invited to attend grand opening festivities on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at both retail locations. In addition to learning about First Horizon's first-class offerings, guests will enjoy several activities and events including a chance to win $25,000 (for those who received information in the mail), giveaways, prize drawings, entertainment for the kids, balloons, refreshments and much more.
