Falcon Natural Gas Corp. Production Update on the Brookshire Dome, Weido Prospect


HOUSTON, Oct. 3, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Falcon Natural Gas Corp. (OTCBB:FNGC) is pleased to announce today that the S.J. Weido No. 2 well, operated by Stanotex, LLC, has stabilized at an average rate of 33 barrels of oil per day (BOPD).

The well reached a total depth of 3,696 feet and logged 43 feet of net pay from multiple zones and is currently producing from the Lower Frio.

Falcon Natural Gas Corp. along with its partners in this prospect, TransAtlantic Energy Partners LP and Stanotex, LLC have begun the evaluation process for potential offsets to this well.
