Cardtronics Names Sales Veteran to Lead National Sales Initiatives


HOUSTON, Oct. 3, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Tony Muscarello, a 20-year sales, marketing and business development executive in retail, consumer goods and financial services, has been named senior vice president of National Sales for Cardtronics, Inc., the world's largest owner/operator of ATMs. Mr. Muscarello is responsible for growing Cardtronics' leadership presence in the national retail segment, as well as driving future revenue growth. He will report to Brian Archer, executive vice president of Sales for Cardtronics.

"Tony's skills in developing strategic partnerships within the retail segment and his experience in financial services make him a great complement to the Cardtronics sales team," Mr. Archer says. "Based on his previous business development, leadership and sales experience, Tony is well-equipped to lead the National Sales effort in achieving our goals for this important business division. Prior to joining Cardtronics, Mr. Muscarello enjoyed an impressive career beginning with M&M/Mars in 1984 and serving in numerous leadership positions with Secure Cash Network, Centego Marketing, Priceline, Webhouse Club and Marvel Entertainment. Most recently with Secure Cash Network, Mr. Muscarello was responsible for developing and launching numerous prepaid ATM/debit card products and financial services to the retail and consumer market. Mr. Muscarello holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and served on the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) Supplier Board of Directors from 1996-2003, serving as Chairman in 2001.
