Home BancShares, Inc. to Ring the NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell


CONWAY, Ark., Oct. 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Home BancShares, Inc. (Nasdaq:HOMB) announced today that John W. Allison, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and his executive team will ring the closing bell at the NASDAQ Stock Market on October 30 at the NASDAQ MarketSite on Broadway in Times Square, New York City. The ringing of the bell is in celebration of Home BancShares, Inc.'s initial public offering, which was completed on June 22, 2006.
