Component Changes Made to Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 Index


NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced component changes in the Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 Index.

Gunns Limited (ASX:GNS) will replace Excel Coal Limited (ASX:EXL) in the Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 Index.

Excel Coal Limited is being deleted due to its acquisition by Peabody Energy Corp. (United States, NYSE:BTU)

The changes in the Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 Index will be effective as of the open of trading on Thursday, October 12, 2006
