PLAINSBORO, N.J., Oct. 12, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Integra Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Integra LifeSciences Corporation (Nasdaq:IART), has awarded two grants to the Society of Neurosurgical Anesthesia and Critical Care (SNACC): 1) a $12,500 grant in support of SNACC's 2006 Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL, October 13, 2006; and 2) a $10,000 grant in support of a Clinical Forum at the 2006 Annual Meeting.

Founded in 1973, the Society of Neurosurgical Anesthesia and Critical Care is an international society with 416 members, whose mission is to improve perioperative and intensive care of patients, who are neurologically impaired or at risk of developing neurological complications, through advances in medicine and research.
