New Novel Tells a Story About a Forbidden Love and the Clash Between Cultures

BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 12, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- In the face of great odds, the power of love is about to be tested. A compelling story of a forbidden love is about to begin as Xlibris releases The Pincus Legacy, a captivating new novel from author Sidney L. Dornfest.

The Pincus Legacy tells the love story of two young people, Pincus and Yetta, caught in the undercurrents of life and the quirks of fate. Pincus is the son of German-Jewish immigrants and Yetta is the daughter of Russian-Jewish immigrants. There has always been conflict between the two, since the German Jews thought the Russian Jews are inferior to them. The theme of this book is father versus son, brother against brother and, finally, culture versus culture. Although the pattern of the story comes from real life, the cloth that clothes the book is fiction and the thread that weaves everything together is fate.
