Two College Students Make $120,000 in 60 Days Every Holiday Season, Now They Show Everyone How With Operation 'ILLUMINATE AMERICA'

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 17, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Bill Tincu and Greg Blithe knew from the start that they couldn't live life as slaves to the rat race, bosses, low pay, and heavily taxed income. "Working all year just to get by and pay the bills is a trap we never wanted to get caught in ...we had never had jobs, and weren't too excited about the prospect of making $15 - $25 an hour with any company," Bill Tincu, co-founder of Christmas Kings, holiday light installers, and Operation "ILLUMINATE AMERICA" says.

Tincu was driving home from surfing one evening when a small sign caught his eye. It read, "We install Christmas lights." The 19-year-old knew he could hang lights and decided to have his good friend Greg Blithe help. Little did they know they had stumbled upon a gold mine.

"Giving people the joy of the holiday spirit brings us joy by making others happy. We weren't dong it for the money, but the money just kept coming," Blithe says. "We now make what most of our friends make in a year, but in about two months instead. Not to mention the tax write-offs, including trucks and cell phones."

Unsure of what to charge customers, they bid the first few jobs high, not thinking they would be taken seriously. Boy, were they wrong! "Home owners were happy to pay anywhere from $600 to $3500 a house," Tincu says.

La Jolla resident Chrissy Tustison considers the services a worthy investment. "Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I have beautiful lights. But I'm not climbing up on the roof in heels to hang them myself," she says.

Bill and Greg's new plan is to "ILLUMINATE AMERICA" with holiday lights. They have created a nationwide start-up package, as well as a live training program, to teach others how to start their own holiday lights hanging business in the cities they live, all across America.

"With this opportunity, anyone, regardless of prior knowledge or experience, can make $25,000 to $50,000 every holiday season," Tincu says.

The team has set a goal to train 50,000 new Christmas light hangers to help light up each city. "Since there is only a small time to have lights put up and there is such a huge demand for this in every city, we hope to establish as many new holiday lighters as possible with our guidance and support," Blithe says.

Operation "ILLUMINATE AMERICA" is a complete in-detail package which includes all the necessary business forms, training manuals for hanging holiday lights on residential and commercial properties, large posters for first- and second-year operations, and customizable marketing materials.
