Salon City Team Shoots Winter Beauty Spread in New York City

Top Artists Come Together to Feature a Salute to Global `Salon City' in 2007


WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Oct. 18, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Annie Casciola, Vice President and Creative Editor for Salon City magazine, announced that the publication's latest editorial features were shot by top New York photographer Luqman Kaka in a series of dramatic beauty images designed to convey the theme for the magazine's upcoming issue, a salute to the worldwide Salon City and 2007.

Said Ms. Casciola, "We are thrilled with the results of the shoot, because it signifies that Salon City has an developing relationship with terrific artists who live and work in fashion capitals such as New York City, London and Paris. As we are based in Hollywood, we are able to really focus in on beauty and entertainment in a unique way."

Kamitha Sloan, Fashion Director for Salon City magazine, oversaw the photography and will be finalizing the details of the multiple-page feature along with managing editor Janis Hashe and art director Kiff Scholl. "We were able to feature some of the top brands in makeup, nails, fashion in our shoot. Look for more of this exciting integrated branding in future issues," said Ms. Casciola.
