ATLANTA, Oct. 18, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Leading multifamily real estate firm Lane Company is continuing its national expansion. Its newest territory: the Southwestern U.S.
Mark McHenry has been chosen to lead the latest regional expansion, serving as Southwest Regional Partner for Lane Investment & Development, LLC, the development subsidiary of Lane Company. McHenry will be responsible for apartment and condominium acquisition and development in Texas, Arizona and Colorado.
"Lane Company is moving aggressively into new markets," said the firm's CEO Bill Donges. "While these are new territories for us, Mark has been working successfully in the region for ten years. He has the expertise and perseverance to help us establish a strong presence there."
McHenry, who will be based in Dallas, says the new region has strong potential for growth.
"I was attracted by Lane's reputation as a quality developer of both rental and for sale multifamily product, and the opportunity to lead the regional expansion of a rapidly-growing, highly entrepreneurial organization that is well capitalized and aggressively building the company," McHenry said. McHenry was formerly Vice President of Western Region Development with Birmingham-based Colonial Properties Trust, which owns a portfolio of multifamily, office and retail properties, and has also served as a regional development Partner with JPI in Dallas.
In addition to the new Southwest region, Lane Company has regional partners overseeing development in the Southeast, Florida, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. All of the development partners report directly to the CEO.
