DOWNEY, Calif., Oct. 19, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- On October 18, more than 6,000 people were in attendance to see the Macy's Parade on Parade caravan at Macy's in Downey, California. Children and their families enjoyed a first-hand experience at piloting a parade balloon in the Balloon Flight School experience. Other festivities included a musical revue, a mobile exhibition about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and much more. This is the first time in the Parade's 80 year history that it is touring the country, bringing the magic, excitement, and spirit of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade to 23 cities in 80 days. The Macy's Parade on Parade Caravan's next stop is Phoenix, Arizona as it makes its way back to New York City.
