ARI insights Improves Quality of Client Fleet Reports

MT. LAUREL, N.J., Oct. 27, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Fleet managers who prepare and distribute fleet reports now have a versatile web tool available from Automotive Resources International that can significantly improve the quality and utility of those reports.

Through the Enhanced Web Reporting feature of ARI insights(tm), the intelligent web-based car and truck fleet management system announced in August 2006, ARI clients can now create high-quality reports that help receivers more easily find opportunities to fix inefficiencies and save money in fleet operations.

Instead of just posting and running a report with difficult-to-read tables, charts and graphs, customers can customize the report to their individual preferences, add or delete fields as needed, post useful graphs, tables, charts or grids, and easily insert color graphics that help simplify complex data. Those who receive the report can download in Adobe or Excel, or refresh the document on demand.

"Enhanced Web Reporting and the latest business intelligence tools -- key components of our new system -- combine to drive efficiency and cost savings for our customers," explains Bill Kwelty, ARI Vice President and Chief Information Officer. "These capabilities demonstrate how ARI continues to leverage technology to address priority customer needs and provide IS tools that help fleet managers do their jobs effectively."

ARI insights is currently in use at select customer locations in limited release and is scheduled for general customer availability in January 2007. The new ARI business tool gives customers, even those with the most complex truck fleet operations, comprehensive actionable data about their fleets -- strategic fleet insights -- through comparative performance data, simplified interfaces and tools that get results faster. ARI clients can leverage the system to improve fleet operation, cost management, and business decision-making in the future.
