Dobson Communications Announces Completion of Redemption for Dobson Cellular Systems, Inc.'s Remaining First Priority Senior Secured Floating Rate Notes Due 2011


OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dobson Communications Corporation (the "Company") (Nasdaq:DCEL) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Dobson Cellular Systems, Inc. ("Dobson Cellular") has completed its redemption for the remaining $15,559,000 in outstanding First Priority Senior Secured Floating Rate Notes due 2011 (CUSIP No. 256067-AF-6). The total redemption price of $15,896,426.09 for the First Priority Senior Floating Rate Notes due 2011 was funded from a distribution of cash on hand from Dobson Cellular.
