Insulock to Launch Distribution Network

BURNABY, British Columbia, Nov. 8, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- American Insulock Inc. (the "Company") (CNQ:AIKI.U) (Pink Sheets:AILKF) is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with an independent laboratory to create a custom formulation for the polyurethane foam that is used to mold the INSULOCK(r) blocks. This new proprietary formula will help streamline and simplify the manufacturing process.

The Company is developing a network to supply polyurethane to all its customers worldwide. The Company will make agreements with polyurethane suppliers and license them with the proprietary formula. The specifications for this new proprietary product will be owned by American Insulock.

The Company will put in place long term agreements with the polyurethane suppliers wherever possible. Insulock's customers will place the orders for polyurethane with the Company. The Company will in turn have the polyurethane shipped directly to the customer. This network will enable the owners of the new INSULOCK(r) six mold machine to purchase polyurethane products through the Company and be distributed by local suppliers.

The Company's core business is the manufacture and distribution of its brand of insulating concrete forms (known as INSULOCK(r) Blocks), together with the equipment that is used to manufacture these blocks. INSULOCK(r) Blocks are made of polyurethane rather than polystyrene (i.e., Styrofoam(r)), which is the material that is used by virtually every other manufacturer of insulating concrete forms. INSULOCK(r) Blocks are much stronger than polystyrene blocks and can be used to construct soundwalls and buildings that are highly effective at absorbing sound and that have an R-30 or R-38 heat insulating value.
