The NASDAQ Stock Market to Observe Veterans Day


ADVISORY, Nov. 8, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) --



 WHO:     The NASDAQ Stock Market, along with other major exchanges,
          will be observing Veterans Day on Friday, November 10th 2006.

 WHAT:    NASDAQ will observe a two-minute remembrance from
          11:00 a.m. - 11:02 a.m., Eastern Time (ET), to honor our
          nation's Veterans.  During this time, NASDAQ officials will
          ask market participants to refrain from trading activity to
          honor Americans who have served our country in war and peace,
          as well as those who are currently serving.

          Please note that trading will not be halted during this time.
          NASDAQ asks market participants to use their best judgment
          and sensitivity in regards to trading during the moment of
          silence.

          NASDAQ will display the American Flag on its seven-story
          Tower in Times Square during the moment of silence.
          Networks interested in using the Tower for a bump shot can
          do so during this time.
