World Am's Isotec Subsidiary President Participates in White House-Sponsored Emergency Conference to Find Solutions to Incidents of School Violence and Death

Isotec Developing Potential Deterrent to Weapons Penetrating School Security Systems

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Nov. 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- World Am, Inc. (OTCBB:WDAM) today reported that its Isotec, Inc. subsidiary president, Ken Jochim, was one of several hundred school officials, security experts and law enforcement officials recently invited to participate in an unscheduled, White House-sponsored emergency School Security Conference. Its goal: to identify ways to combat repetitions of recent incidents of school violence and death.

"As sophisticated as some school systems' security efforts are, the vast majority of conference attendees believe our schools, and our children, are at risk," said Mr. Jochim. "The overall consensus from the conference was that our country has to move forward on a number of fronts to eliminate this senseless violence, and do it at a record pace."

Mr. Jochim said Isotec is developing an application-specific security product for strengthening school access control and is already in discussions with school districts in several states for beta tests of a prototype installation. Isotec expects to announce its completion and availability before year's end at a price point affordable for local school budgets.

"We are determined to make a meaningful contribution to the problem, and our expertise is especially suited to what has been determined to be the primary shortfall in schools across the country - the lack of adequate passage control security products that can prevent the wrong people, and the weapons such as guns and knives they carry, from entering the school campus," said Mr. Jochim.

About Isotec:

Isotec develops, integrates and supplies passage control security products broadly categorized as Access Control, Weapons Control, or Materials Control Systems that rigorously control entry or exit of people and materials into and/or out of a facility, while reducing the need for security personnel. Isotec's experience in this field allows it to provide high quality, code compliant, application-optimized solutions at the lowest cost in the shortest timeframe.
