ICM Corporation Announces Change in Ownership

Management Plans to Grow Company Through Investment Expansion

ATLANTA, Nov. 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- ICM Corporation, a proven communications solutions provider for the mobile workforce, today announced that General Manager Tom Briones has assumed ownership of the company.

ICM Corporation, which has provided communications solutions to the mobile worker for more than 20 years, is well respected in the industry as a trusted advisor for seamlessly integrating wireless communications products and for enterprise-wide deployments with zero defects. ICM's new ownership will enhance the company's reputation as an industry-leading mobility solutions provider, while expanding its core competencies and reinvesting in the company.

"ICM will continue to build upon its strong history of enabling communication for information in motion," Briones said. "The industry can expect many positive changes from ICM Corporation over the next year as we expand our business both nationally and internationally with the help of a strong management team, select best-of-breed partners, and an advisory board."

As ICM's CEO, Briones oversees sales, operations and marketing functions while establishing key business, distribution and technology partnerships to drive revenue. Prior to joining ICM two years ago, Briones served as the interim Executive General Manager of Kinetic International, a 15-year-old privately held company focused on optimizing capital assets through process improvement. There, he cut costs and improved revenue by 20 percent. Earlier, as Co-Founder of AnyDevice, Inc., a mobile middleware company, Briones was instrumental in growing the business through his leadership in Business Development and Sales.

"One of our goals moving forward is to seek out new best-of-breed partners in order to increase ICM's capabilities to deliver cross-industry enterprise solutions focusing on mobility, tracking and temporary fixed platforms," added Briones. "As an example, we recently concluded an agreement with a leading service organization that provides us with a complementary national footprint to match our expanded sales activities."

ICM's business is two-fold. First, ICM serves as a problem solver for enterprise customers by providing mobile computing solutions. Second, ICM ties all of the hardware and software solutions together so that they work harmoniously for the end-user. For instance, ICM has maintained status as one the top value added reseller for Panasonic Toughbooks for the past seven years. ICM has deployed more than 500,000 notebooks and handhelds in the field. The company has the knowledge and experience to deliver large and complex deployments, smoothly and on schedule.

"The installation of a mobile communications solution in a vehicle can be the Achilles heel if it is not done properly, and our team is consistently able to tie the final pieces of these projects together so that each device integrates seamlessly with the customer's overall communications infrastructure," Briones explained.

ICM's team is skilled in managing all aspects of fleet-sized mobile computing deployment projects, including sourcing equipment, creating and managing images, coordinating staged shipping and vehicle installations, and performing wireless activations, configurations and pre-deployment diagnostics. ICM works directly with vendors and distributors to reliably and cost effectively source hardware, software, mobility platforms, and tracking and visualization technologies. This single vendor focus allows customers to readily resolve problems when complex mobility issues arise.
