Photo Release -- Foose and Katzkin Announce Partnership At SEMA Show

MONTEBELLO, Calif., Nov. 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Katzkin Leather Interiors, the industry's leading manufacturer of aftermarket leather interiors, had much to show off at this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas, not the least of which was their recent partnership with world renowned automotive designer and host of the hit television series Overhaulin', Chip Foose. Foose has turned his talents to the new Dodge Charger and has created a special Foose Design Edition featuring a unique Katzkin leather trim designed by Chip himself.

The partnership was officially announced on Thursday morning, Day Three of the 2006 SEMA Show, when Foose appeared at Katzkin's booth to unveil the new package and to sign autographs. The show opened at 9:00 a.m. and, by 9:05, a line of excited fans already began gathering. By the time Chip arrived an hour later, over 1,000 people were swarming around Katzkin's Hollywood-themed booth hoping they would be able to walk away with a t-shirt or poster signed by Chip Foose. He did not disappoint.

Other options on the Foose Design Edition Charger, available through MOPAR, include the MOPAR Chrome Wire Mesh Grille Inserts and the MOPAR Cat-Back, Free-Flow, Dual-Outlet Exhaust System. Chip also designed the distinctive wheels on this exciting package.

Walking down the red carpet of Katzkin's movie-theater-inspired exhibit, visitors also learned about their other new partnerships with Audiovox, with Liquicell, with W.E.T. Seat Comfort Systems and with the licensing arm of NASCAR. There was a demonstration of their new Headshrinker 3000, a pneumatic device that remarkably shrinks a foam headrest facilitating the installation of a headrest cover. Katzkin also showed off a new interior they call the Homerun Edition, featuring genuine baseball glove leather with baseball stitching throughout. "2006 has been a fantastic year for us," said Katzkin founder Mitch Katz, "and 2007 is going to be even better."
