This software, also known as keyloggers captures bank, credit card, and other personal information as it's typed. A recent report from a government security group known as CERT, states that 80% of the malicious keylogging programs go undetected by anti-virus software.
According to a statement by the US Secret Service, "The criminals use programs (Keyloggers) that insert themselves into people's computers, then search for sensitive financial data or do other tasks like recording keystrokes as computer users log on to their personal accounts.
