World Am's Senz-It Subsidiary Executive Selected to Chair American Public Transportation Association Sub-Committee on Public Transport Threats

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Nov. 15, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- World Am, Inc. (OTCBB:WDAM) today reported that Thilde Peterson, Director of Business Development of its Senz-It subsidiary, has been named Chairperson of a key subcommittee of the American Public Transportation Association's ("APTA") Infrastructure Security Standards Committee. The committee's objective is to define the standards for placement of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear detection devices in passenger facilities, maintenance and operations facilities, and their related assets.

Five senior associates join Ms. Peterson on the sub-committee, representing business, transit agencies, and the Department of Homeland Security. The sub-committee has already begun the process of researching what standards will make a difference for the placement of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear detection devices. The first draft of the standard being created will be available to APTA members for comment sometime in the summer of 2007.

"Having the opportunity to personally play a key role in affecting an entire industry is an honor," said Ms. Peterson. "Our sub-committee is dedicated to creating a standard for detection that keeps passengers, operators and facilities safe and secure."

In her new capacity, Ms. Peterson reports to Mr. Harry Saporta, a key executive with Parsons Brinckerhoff, who leads the Infrastructure Security Committee. His firm, which today provides comprehensive infrastructure services on six continents, designed New York City's first subway line, and a railroad across China.

Ms. Peterson's appointment reflects important recognition, on a national level, of Senz-It's emerging technology position in the detection market space. Senz-It represents an innovative advancement in the field of micro-sensors that have applications in homeland security, indoor air quality monitoring, food processing and health care. Its products are intended to compete in the developing field of real-time detection and notification devices. Senz-It is being designed to identify patterns of molecules present in air or liquid environments for significantly less cost than current approaches.
