Limbo 41414 Launches Epic Battle for Star Wars Collectibles

New Limbo Auction Pits Han Solo Against Boba Fett

BURLINGAME, Calif., Nov. 15, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mobile entertainment company Limbo 41414 invites fans from across the galaxy to compete for Star Wars collectibles -- from Han Solo or Boba Fett -- via text messaging. Limbo 41414 has launched a series of Star Wars Limbo Auctions -- where the lowest, unique bid wins awesome prizes, not the highest bid -- featuring Star Wars collectibles as well as the opportunity to connect with other Star Wars fans through special interactive features: the opportunity for fans to vote on future Limbo Auction items and the ability to earn Loot bonuses for telling friends to join the fun.

This second-ever Star Wars Limbo Auction continues an epic battle that pits the Light Side versus the Dark Side. Players will compete for the ability to choose between a Scaled Replica, Boba Fett Blaster EPV1 or a Han Solo Blaster EPV. Win the game and choose your prize!

The Star Wars Limbo Auction -- "Which Side Will You Choose?" -- is now live and play continues through November 24th at noon (PT). To start playing and cast your vote, simply text HAN or BOBA to 41414. And, for more information, rules or to learn more about the creators of the Limbo Auction, visit www.41414.com. Limbo 41414 plans to launch new Limbo Auctions featuring Star Wars collectibles every two weeks. Fans are encouraged check Limbo 41411's web site frequently, or to sign up for new Limbo Auction text alerts online, at www.41414.com.

Limbo 41414 launched the inaugural Star Wars Limbo Auction on October 20th with the ultimate Light Side vs. Dark Side battle and the ability to choose between a Force FX Obiwan Kenobi Lightsaber EP or a Darth Maul Lightsaber EP I -- the full double-bladed lightsaber.

The victor, 34-year old Steve Zitzmann from Colorado Springs, CO, won with a bid of $18.66 and chose victory for the Dark Side: "My brother-in law read about Limbo 41414 and we started playing to see if it was for real. Then, I won! At this point my biggest regret is that I have to wait 120 days to play again."

The "Limbo Auction" is an interactive game where the winner is the person making the lowest bid that no other player makes, not the highest bid. It encourages players to develop and employ bidding strategies and to stay highly engaged as they receive comments and tips regarding their bids (e.g., "you're the lowest unique bid," "your bid is unique but not the lowest," etc.). And, players can seamlessly switch between methods of entry -- online or text messaging -- for the same Limbo Auction based on their individual preferences and schedules.

Since launching in December 2005, Limbo 41414 has run more than 300 auctions, awarding more than $390,000. Limbo 41414 winners have purchased luxury items including a Hummer H3 for $36.65, a Mini Cooper for $50.43, and a year's supply of gasoline and a plasma TV for $54.24 and $8.85, respectively.
